Mary Kay Drouin, Reflexologist & Reiki Practitioner

As an Adrian Dominican sister, my journey in healing began as a primary teacher during the Cuban crisis when working with children during this painful time. I spent the next 13 years teaching Primary and Jr High and walking with students in their daily lives. In 1974 led by the Spirit I was called to minister in Appalachia in Eastern, Kentucky. During that time as I walked with the women, they articulated the need for a safe place for themselves and their children when they were victims of domestic violence. Once again, the path was made clear and in 1979, Resurrection Home (A shelter for abused women and their children) was born. For the next 26 years as founder and director, I journeyed with our families in their pain. On this journey I also had the privilege of being present with many who were dying or crossing over, what a sacred gift. Throughout my life's journey, healing in Body, Mind, and Spirit has been core in each of my ministries. This holistic approach calls for spiritual, physical, emotional and mental healing.

In 2005 I was given the opportunity to study alternative healing modalities in programs at Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, MI with the desire to bring these new methods of healing to those who desire healing in Spirit, Body & Mind and overall wellness in their lives. I am now certified in Reflexology, Reiki and Psych-K and have practiced both in Michigan and Kentucky. The style of reflexology that I practice is reflexolo-chi which is a gentle energy based style of reflexology. The client and therapist are partners in this healing process.

I believe in the sacredness of each person and the gift of healing that each one of us possess. It is my desire to walk reverently with each person and together journey to the fullness of wellness and life for each one.

    Deep peace to you.

Jamie Grizzell, LMT & Certified Reiki Master

When a baby cries, a parent's first instinct is to hold the child close. When we injure ourselves, our first instinct is to touch the affected area. It has been shown that pigs grow thirty percent faster when massaged and that mice handled for 15 minutes each day over the first three weeks of life live longer, healthier lives with increased memory capacities throughout. Both the physical and the psychological healing effects of touch have been well established in recent decades. It is my goal to touch your life in an unconditionally positive, understanding, and effective way through the therapeutic method of the healing arts.

I strive to accomplish this goal through a variety of healing modalities, including multiple massage techniques (Swedish, Hot Stone, Therapeutic, and Deep Tissue), integrated body therapy and Reiki energy work. I am a graduate of the Lexington Healing Arts Academy, a Reiki practitioner of eight years, a certified Reiki Master of three years, and I hold my licensure with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

I look forward to working with you to increase your vitality, deepen your sense of relaxation, and assist you on your journey of self-healing.

"The body is movement. Breath is life. And the base of our being is the support of others."
